About Us

Welcome To BNKB POSTGRADUATE COLLEGE AKBARPUR

Established in 1969, BNKB Postgraduate College, Akbarpur, has been a beacon of higher education, nurturing generations of students with a commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. The foundation of the institution was laid by Late Vishweshwar Nath Hangal, a visionary advocate and landlord, who initially established Anglovernakuiler Middle School to promote modern education. Over the years, the institution expanded and evolved, achieving the status of an intermediate college.

Through the generous contributions of Mr. Kailas Bihari Mehra, the college embarked on its journey in July 1969 and was subsequently named Vishweshwar Nath Kailash Bihari Mahavidyalaya. Today, it operates under an affiliated committee, with Mr. Suresh Nath Kapoor serving as Chairman and Mr. Krishna Kumar Tandon as Minister.

BNKB Postgraduate College upholds the glorious national traditions and cultural values of Akbarpur while striving to instill intellectual, physical, and spiritual empowerment in its students. The institution is dedicated to fostering knowledge, wisdom, and moral integrity, guided by the motto:
